- Is there a free plan?
- No. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial that requires no credit card, but there is no permanent free tier. RubyRep does real work on every conversation, and a free tier would mean either limiting it until it is useless or subsidising it with the paying plans.
- What counts as a conversation?
- One visitor session, however many messages it contains. A visitor who asks six questions in a row is one conversation, not six.
- What happens if I go over my limits?
- RubyRep keeps answering. You'll see it in the dashboard and we'll ask you to move up a plan — we don't switch your representative off mid-month on your customers.
- Can I remove the RubyRep badge?
- On Better and Best, yes. The trial and Good plan keep a small "Powered by RubyRep" line in the widget.
- What does 'pages of knowledge' mean?
- The number of pages from your website RubyRep will read and keep indexed. Most small business sites are well under 100; documentation-heavy sites are where the higher limits matter.
