Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RubyRep, operated by RubyRep, of India. By creating an account you agree to them.

What the service does

RubyRep crawls a website you control, builds a searchable index of its published pages, and answers questions from visitors to that website using that index. It is a question-answering service over content you have already published. It is not a CRM, a ticketing system, or a general-purpose assistant, and it has no access to your customers’ accounts, orders or internal systems.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Websites you may add

You may only add websites you own or are authorised to act for. Our crawler respects robots.txt; you must not use the service to index a site that has asked automated readers to stay away, or one you have no right to.

Acceptable use

You may not use RubyRep to:

• publish unlawful, deceptive, or infringing content;
• impersonate another business or person;
• circumvent usage limits, including by creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated trials;
• attempt to extract our prompts, models, or the content of other customers;
• place automated load on the service beyond ordinary use of the widget.

We may suspend an account that does any of these, and will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

Answers are generated, and can be wrong

RubyRep produces answers automatically from your published content. It is designed to refuse rather than guess, and to cite the page an answer came from, but no system of this kind is correct every time. You are responsible for what your representative says to your customers, and you should review the answers it gives — particularly on pricing, legal, medical, financial or safety matters. We are not liable for the content of an answer.

Plans, payment and trials

Paid plans are Good at $39 a month, Better at $99 a month, Best at $249 a month. Every account begins with a 7-day trial. There is no permanent free plan. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your full card details.

Prices are exclusive of any tax we are required to collect. We may change prices, and will give at least 30 days’ notice before a change affects an existing subscription.

Your content

Your website content remains yours. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service: to fetch, store, index and quote your published pages in order to answer questions on your behalf. We do not train models on your content, and we do not use it to answer for any other customer.

Availability

We aim to keep RubyRep available continuously, but we do not promise uninterrupted service and there is no uptime guarantee on any plan unless we have agreed one with you in writing.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may end this agreement if you materially breach these terms and do not put it right within 14 days of us asking.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, or loss of data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
