Is your work guaranteed if the problem comes back?

What plumbing companies need to publish

They have already paid someone once for a problem that returned, and they are trying not to repeat it.

How customers actually ask it

The same intent arrives in wording your page probably does not use. All of these mean the same thing:

  • “Is your work guaranteed if the problem comes back?”
  • “do you warranty your repairs”
  • “what if the leak returns”
  • “plumbing guarantee”

What a complete answer contains

For plumbing companies specifically, an answer is only complete when it covers all 5:

  1. 1

The workmanship warranty period in months or years

  2. 2

That parts carry a separate manufacturer warranty, with its typical length

  3. 3

What voids it — most often another trade working on the same system afterwards

  4. 4

Whether a return visit under warranty carries a trip fee

  5. 5

How a warranty claim is started, and who to contact

A worked example

Illustrative — not a real business

Labour on every repair is guaranteed for one year. Parts carry the manufacturer's own warranty, usually one to six years depending on the fixture. If the same fault returns within the year we come back at no charge — no trip fee. The guarantee does not cover the work if someone else has since altered the same line.

What silence costs

A stated guarantee is the cheapest way to beat a lower quote, and most plumbing sites leave it to the phone call.
