What's included in your packages?
What photography studios need to publish
Package comparison is the main way couples shop photographers, and a PDF nobody links is functionally the same as no pricing at all.
How customers actually ask it
The same intent arrives in wording your page probably does not use. All of these mean the same thing:
- “What's included in your packages?”
- “what do your packages cover”
- “how many photos do we get”
- “do you include prints”
- “second shooter included”
What a complete answer contains
For photography studios specifically, an answer is only complete when it covers all 4:
- 1
Hours of coverage per tier, stated as real numbers
- 2
Whether a second shooter, album or prints are included or an add-on
- 3
The number of edited images delivered, as a range
- 4
What raises the price beyond the base package
A worked example
Illustrative — not a real business
Our mid-tier package is 8 hours of coverage, a second shooter, and 400-500 edited digital images delivered via online gallery — prints and albums are add-ons. Travel beyond 30 miles adds a mileage fee, and additional hours are billed at our hourly rate.

What silence costs
Unclear packages push comparison-shopping couples to whichever studio's site lets them compare without asking.

AI customer support for photographers
Wedding and portrait inquiries live or die on speed — a couple comparing five studios books whichever one answers 'is our date free' first. RubyRep answers availability, package pricing and delivery turnaround from what's already published, and is explicit that a date is only truly held once a contract and retainer are in, not the moment someone asks.

What is AI customer service?
AI customer service means answering customer questions with a language model rather than a person. The useful implementations are grounded in a specific business's own content; the poor ones let a general model improvise, which produces confident answers that are wrong.

What is a knowledge base?
Traditionally a knowledge base is a help centre humans read. For AI support it is the source material a representative answers from — which means an ordinary website, well written, can serve as one without a separate help centre.
