HTML to Markdown converter
Paste HTML and get Markdown back.
Converts pasted HTML into clean Markdown, keeping headings, links, lists and code blocks. Useful when moving content between systems, or preparing pages for a model to read.
How it works
- 1
The HTML is parsed and walked node by node.
- 2
Headings become ATX (#) style, code becomes fenced blocks, and links and lists keep their structure.
- 3
Presentational markup with no Markdown equivalent is dropped rather than mangled.
Questions about this tool
- Why convert to Markdown at all?
- It is the format language models read most reliably, and the format most content systems import cleanly. Stripping HTML also strips the styling assumptions that break in a new context.
- What happens to tables?
- Simple tables convert to Markdown table syntax. Tables with merged cells have no Markdown equivalent and will flatten, which is worth checking before you rely on the output.

CSV to Markdown table
Turns pasted CSV into a GitHub-flavoured Markdown table. Quoted fields, embedded commas and ragged rows are handled properly rather than split naively on commas.
tool
Notion to Markdown converter
Converts a public Notion page to Markdown. Built specifically for Notion's export quirks rather than a generic HTML converter — it detects and removes the 'Made with Notion' attribution every public page carries, and gives a clear error instead of garbage output when a page isn't actually shared.
tool
Google Docs to Markdown converter
Converts a published Google Doc to Markdown. The specific problem it solves: Docs doesn't export real heading tags for most documents — a heading is a paragraph styled by inline font-size and weight, so a generic converter reads it as bold text and the outline disappears. This detects that pattern and promotes it back to real Markdown headings before converting.

Converts JSON into readable nested Markdown lists with object keys in bold. If the JSON is invalid it tells you exactly where, which is often the more useful output.
