Questions about this tool
- Why SVG rather than PNG?
- SVG is resolution-independent. The same file works on a business card and a billboard, where a PNG has to be regenerated at each size.
- Can I put a logo in the middle?
- Yes — level M tolerates about 15% of the code being covered. Keep the logo well inside that and test the result with an actual phone before printing anything.
- Does the code expire?
- No. It encodes your URL directly rather than redirecting through us, so it works forever and we never see a scan. The trade-off is that you cannot change where it points afterwards.
