Do you ship to my country?

What online stores need to publish

They want to know before they invest time in a basket. A vague answer reads as no.

How customers actually ask it

The same intent arrives in wording your page probably does not use. All of these mean the same thing:

  • Do you ship to my country?
  • do you ship internationally
  • worldwide shipping
  • can you deliver to Australia
  • international delivery

What a complete answer contains

For online stores specifically, an answer is only complete when it covers all 5:

  1. 1

The actual list of countries, or a clear statement of which regions are excluded

  2. 2

Whether duties and import taxes are collected at checkout or on delivery — the difference decides whether a customer gets an unexpected bill

  3. 3

Which carrier handles the final leg, since some countries' customers care a great deal

  4. 4

Whether tracking continues past the border

  5. 5

How returns work from abroad, and who pays

A worked example

Illustrative — not a real business

We ship to 42 countries. EU orders are shipped duty-paid, so the price at checkout is the final price. Orders outside the EU are shipped duty-unpaid and your local customs authority may charge import duty on delivery. Tracking is available end to end.

What silence costs

International visitors bounce fastest of any segment when this is missing, and they rarely ask before leaving.
