How much are the fees?
What schools and course providers need to publish
Affordability is usually the deciding factor, and the total cost is rarely just the headline fee.
How customers actually ask it
The same intent arrives in wording your page probably does not use. All of these mean the same thing:
- “How much are the fees?”
- “tuition costs”
- “is there financial aid”
- “payment plans”
- “what does the course cost”
What a complete answer contains
For schools and course providers specifically, an answer is only complete when it covers all 5:
- 1
Tuition per year or per course, with the academic year named
- 2
Different rates for domestic and international students, where they differ
- 3
What is not included — materials, exam fees, trips, accommodation
- 4
Payment plan availability and whether instalments cost more
- 5
Scholarships and bursaries, with deadlines rather than just their existence
A worked example
Illustrative — not a real business
£9,250 per year for UK students and £16,400 for international students in 2026/27. Materials and exam entry are included; field trips are charged separately at around £300 a year. Termly instalments are available at no extra cost. Three bursaries of £3,000 are awarded each year — applications close 1 March.

What silence costs
Hidden extras discovered after enrolment are the largest driver of first-year withdrawal.

AI customer support for schools and course providers
Admissions seasons concentrate a year of questions into a few weeks, and they are the same questions every year: entry requirements, deadlines, fees, term dates. RubyRep answers them from your own prospectus and admissions pages, at whatever hour a parent or applicant is actually researching.

What is AI customer service?
AI customer service means answering customer questions with a language model rather than a person. The useful implementations are grounded in a specific business's own content; the poor ones let a general model improvise, which produces confident answers that are wrong.

What is a knowledge base?
Traditionally a knowledge base is a help centre humans read. For AI support it is the source material a representative answers from — which means an ordinary website, well written, can serve as one without a separate help centre.
